Our People
Kerry Pedrett, MBA, BS, CAS
Established in 2003, Saddlerock Counseling was founded by David Russel Whitcomb with a heart for recovery and a deep belief in the power of change. Today, that spirit continues through the leadership of Kerry M. Pedrett, MBA, BS, CAS.
Kerry has been working with individuals and families impacted by substance use since 1995. Throughout her career, she has collaborated closely with courts, treatment providers, and community partners, and has been instrumental in developing programming for a Colorado Family Drug Court. Her work has always centered on accountability, structure, and meaningful behavioral change.
With decades of experience, Kerry brings both professional expertise and genuine compassion to her practice. She believes in seeing each person as an individual — not a number — and in helping clients build the skills necessary for lasting transformation. Her passion for this work is rooted in the belief that growth happens when people are supported, challenged, and empowered to take ownership of their future.
Saddlerock Counseling remains committed to offering quality, structured services while continuing the spirit of recovery, integrity, and authentic care that has always defined its mission.
“Change begins the moment you decide your future deserves more than your past.”
Theresa Garcia, BS, CAS
Theresa has had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and children in the addiction field for over 30 years. While attending Metropolitan State University and earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services, she was offered the opportunity to specialize in Addiction Counseling. During this time, she came to recognize that “pain is pain,” and felt called to dedicate her career to supporting those navigating the challenges of substance use and recovery.
Throughout her career, Theresa has created a space where individuals can process life’s valleys and storms while working toward healing and change. She considers it a true privilege to witness the resilience and transformation that occur in the recovery process.
The model that guides Theresa’s work draws from the Tao of Counseling, integrating humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, psychoanalytic, constructionist, and systemic theories. Each of these perspectives offers unique insight into human behavior and emotional functioning, allowing her to meet individuals where they are while supporting meaningful growth.
Theresa remains honored and humbled to facilitate DUI groups and to continue working alongside individuals as they pursue change, accountability, and recovery.
